Announcing the release of Little Tempo’s New Album “LOVE MAX
LITTLE TEMPO’s first full length album in 11 years, “LOVE MAX” is an organic sound that brings together the knowledge of nine skilled music craftsmen. This album is truly a milestone in instrumental reggae, and promises a supreme 53-minute musical journey away from the chaos of the world!Included are 10 well-crafted original gems and a super mellow cover of “Wichita Lineman” (CD only), long-awaited by reggae fans around the world. Every moment is graceful and precise, and the endlessly three-dimensional soundscape is like a 3D kaleidoscope that changes its expression every time you listens to it!We were able to focus so much on quality because of the diversity of the nine members, all of whom are rich in individuality. The band’s performers active in Japan and abroad regardless of genre, Naoyuki Uchida, now one of Asia’s leading engineers, and the rare melody maker Takeshi”TICO”Toki’s sense of composition are, of course, very much intact. “Starlight Serenade” with Yumiko Ohno (Buffalo Daughter) promises a new foundation, and the one-of-a-kind style achieved in the album’s title track “LOVE MAX” reflects the steady and innovative way of life of each member. Mastering was entrusted to Barry Grint of Alchemy Mastering in the U.K., and Uchida’s mixes were elevated to an overwhelming sound image. The CD and Vinyl pressing was conducted by SONY, renowned for the best sound quality in Japan, and the quality of the disc itself was also thoroughly pursued. Mount Zion’s “LOVE MAX,” which was created 30 years after the formation of the group, will surely be a legacy that will continue to shine for decades to come.
